A prism refracts light into hidden colors – that's the effect of the music by the quartet "Sanne Sanne." Amsterdam native Sanne Huijbregts is an architect of atmospheres who shone as an exceptional talent at the Junior Jazz College and graduated with top honors from her studies in Copenhagen and Berlin. Today, she creates "dreamscapes" in which her ethereal voice merges with the metallic shimmer of the vibraphone and the synthetic expanses of the xylosynth.

Together with her quartet, consisting of Roosmarijn Tuenter (viola, vocals), Pat Cleaver (bass), and Jeroen Batterink (drums), the winner of the 2024 Dutch Jazz Competition translates this search for grounding into pulsating soundscapes somewhere between indie-folk and jazz. In the Brunnenhof, the full spectrum of an artist who also hones her vision as a photographer and filmmaker unfolds. And in doing so, they pursue their aim not to please, but to transport: into gliding yet energetic, floating yet grounding soundscapes.
