With their fresh and energetic sound, The Jakob Manz Project is rapidly gaining popularity in the young German jazz scene. Whether in a club or on a large festival stage, the band's unmistakable energy elicits enthusiastic responses from audiences. They played their first concerts in 2017 primarily in the greater Stuttgart area, quickly winning several first prizes, including the Biberach Jazz Prize and the Leverkusen Jazz Days' "Future Sounds" award in 2018.
