Discover the oldest wine cellar in Germany! Built in Roman Trier around 330 AD, the so-called “Horrea” served the city’s citizens as a warehouse and storage house and later became part of the monastery complex of the St.Irminien-Oeren Monastery. To this day we continue to grow our wines in this special place full of history. Today our wine cellar is one of the highlights of wine culture in Germany (DWI) and is a hidden gem in the heart of Germany's oldest city.

For wine and culture lovers, we offer our “cellar discovery tour” every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Take in the unique atmosphere of this highlight of wine culture in Trier on a 50-minute tour of our historic cellar and taste two selected wines from our VDP together with us in our extensive wine cellar. Large vineyards from the Saar and Moselle.
