A comedy by Winnie Abel in 3 acts

Due to a chain of unfortunate circumstances, the pensioners Irmgard and Hermann did not end up in their new retirement home, but in prison. It's just a stupid misunderstanding - but Irmgard and Hermann are so convinced that they are now in their new retirement home that they don't even notice the mistake. The prisoners Kalle and Jaqueline sense the opportunity to show that they have improved and hope to get relief from their sentences. That's why they want to look after the two pensioners in a very noble way until the misunderstanding is cleared up. In order not to worry the two older people, they encourage them to believe that they are in a retirement home - and an absurd game of mix-ups begins. The gangster bride Jaqueline struggles to act as a compassionate nurse and the clumsy prisoner Kalle slips into the role of an old man who also lives in the supposed retirement home.

But as the two pensioners Irmgard and Hermann demand the amenities of an upscale senior citizens' residence more and more vehemently and increasingly encounter other inmates, some of whom are rude, and irritated correctional officers, the game of hide-and-seek becomes a gauntlet that ends in terrifically comic chaos. The play takes the audience into custody with laughter and lets them experience an unforgettable adventure behind bars.
