The world-famous story of the travels of the great Odysseus in a new look: adventurous and dangerous, hilarious and funny, but also poetic and quiet. It shows Odysseus as an example of humanity, a driven person who experiences the greatest happiness but also the greatest pain on his path and never really arrives.

Four actors perform creative theater in over twenty roles in imaginative costumes and artistic backdrops. Exciting and moving, they tell not only about the one-eyed Polyphemus, horrible sea monsters and powerful sorceresses, but also about foreign cultures, about hospitality and gratitude, about abused trust and revenge, about life, lust and death, and the longing for home. As old as the story may be, the themes that run through the work are current and real.

With Homer’s “Odyssey,” the Dramatic Court Theater takes on the most famous story of Greek legend. A classic of cruise literature depicts the hero's route through the Mediterranean, guided by the stars in the sky of the southern firmament.
