It is no longer a secret that the Saar is home to some of the world's best Riesling wines. And Laura and Jörg Diekert's wine hotel Ayler Kupp has long been a fixture for wine enjoyment, excellent, upscale cuisine and warm hospitality. Located in the middle of the idyllic wine town of Ayl and surrounded by vineyards, the house's beautiful garden offers the perfect backdrop for a special sound experience. Chef Jörg Diekert interprets seasonal and regional products in a contemporary way. There are sophisticated Rieslings from the Peter Lauer winery and other top winemakers in the Saar as congenial companions. The musical partner is a jazz trio led by the young Saarland drummer Kevin Naßhan. Trained at the Saar University of Music and a master's graduate of the renowned jazz course at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, he founded his own big band with the Silent Explosion Orchestra in 2014. Between the courses, the Kevin Naßhan Trio ensures musical diversity, intense color and a well-measured groove with jazz standards and original compositions.
