During a one-hour excursion from Trier, you pass the red sandstone cliffs, the Boost shipyard, the Pfalzel district as far as the mouth of the Ruwer (departures at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.),or sailing the other direction toward the Trier lock and dam, past St. Marys Column, the old cranes, the Roman Bridge, and the abbey of St. Matthias (departures at 11:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.). During a two-hour excursion, you will see the places named on both routes.
